The North Shore Mayors’ Golf Tournament will be held on May 25, 2018, and, for the eleventh consecutive year, they will assist a designated North Shore charity with a substantial donation to fund a worthy project. Our fundraising formula is to direct the first $50,000 in net proceeds from the event to a worthy cause that benefits residents of the North Shore. That designated charity will receive considerable profile among our corporate sponsors and players.
We invite Expressions of Interest from agencies on the North Shore who have a project needing funds that meet the following criteria:
a. Must be a society with CRA registered status---a “qualified donee” b. Must serve primarily social needs, not recreational or cultural c. Must be in need of funding for a major project
Please provide us with an Expression of Interest including a written description of the proposed project, why it will benefit the North Shore, your budget, some information or an annual report on your organization, and your CRA registration number. You may submit it by email to: email@example.com.
Deadline for submission is end of day on Wednesday, October 18th, 2017. The golf committee will screen all Expressions of Interest, meet with finalists and endeavour to select a designated charity for next year’s golf tournament by mid-November.
